Engaged, Empowered Students - Maximizing the Invention Education opportunity in and out of the classroom
October 27, 2021, 4pm–5pm
Invention Education, designed to integrate into existing teaching strategies, enhances both the educator and student experience. For educators, it can revitalize their practice and add an enhanced layer to students’ STEM knowledge and mindset development. For students, Invention Education is a catalyst for deeper learning, engagement and builds a sense of agency in their educational experience.
Please join us on Wednesday, October 27 at 4pm PT/7pm ET for a discussion on practical, and immediately applicable, ways to build and hone your teaching skills in Invention Education, in both in-school and out-of-school environments. You’ll hear about how to obtain support from administrators, and leverage hybrid and virtual learning environments. Attendees will also participate in a brief design challenge in which they’ll walk away with new ideas and resources for their classrooms and programs.
Apologies, the first 15 minutes are missing from this video which included a mini design challenge with participants. The video starts at the beginning of the panelist discussion.
